Gentlemen - To write a letter does not come easily to me. I have never written to my Congressman, the newspaper people’s column, or even to protest the playing of Beatle’s records...as much as I wanted to. My little story is this. All my life I wanted a nice sounding set, - sort of a AM-FM, record player. Something always came up that sent the money in another direction. Our 14 yrs old TC set finally gave out, and we went shopping fo a new one. While in the music store, this

Dear Sir, I would like to take the occasion of this writing to express my appreciation, along with many other thousands of listeners, for the type of enjoyable music played on station W.A.D.V. I am sure the music selected appeals to all age levels, from infants to grand-parents. The announcers have well-modulated voices and are extremely cordial and courteous every minute on the air. I hope to spend many more listening hours of pleasant music coming forth from station W.A.D.V

Dear Sirs, You are to be complimented for your fine Stereo broadcast. Your multiplex signal comes through 100% according to both my stereo-level meters. Your stereo balance is superior to our two local stations in Toronto. We also enjoy your programming emmensely, particularly the Sunday evening Organ music from 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. I hope that you will continue to broadcast such fine programs. Yours sincerely, E.T. Gray (of Toronto, Ontario)

Thanking you and God’s Blessings, Mrs C. ---- June 12th, 1972 To Rick Lesniak, (?) A big “thank you” for the beautiful hymns you played on Sunday morning’s “Musical Praise”. You did an “outstanding” job, replacing Allen Vern. If possible - please play - “He Touched Me” my Jimmy Durante next Sunday. Thank you - and God’s Blessings. Si
Embarassing times ahead for Rick Lesniak...
Rick Lesniak - I perceive your character strength & feel you as a lovely human being because of your individual expression of programming unafraid of criticism. The talent of Lanza (?) is glorious, so short almost untrained unappreciated even by himself however he was so human. A frailty sometimes is almost a power. I lament his death. The art of expression - composer prescribes, conductor tries to fulfil the prescription. There is a mood of music at the time of composition,

Dear Sir, It is my very great pleasure to inform you of the enjoyment obtained from the delightful music and wonderful multiplex reception presented by your station. Believe it or not, even an advertisment becomes tolerable when heard on WADV! I have several Capitol L.P.’s and find their sound reproduction almost unbelievable. Several of my favorite artists, e.g. Sinatra, Cole, Peggy Lee, Al Martino and Nelson Riddle record for Capitol. Keep up the good work and never be BEAT
